Radiobras or Agência Brasil or ABr is the national broadcaster and a public agency of Brazil. The name is a portmanteau of Radiodifusão Brasil ("Brazil Broadcasting"). Radiobras operates several radio stations and TV stations throughout the country. It is also involved in international broadcasting, primarily on shortwave.
In 2007, ABr became part of the new Empresa Brasil de Comunicação [English: Brazil Communications Company].
