Agios Dimitrios (Greek: Άγιος Δημήτριος meaning Saint Demetrius) is a village located in the municipality of Amaliada in the northern part of the prefecture of Ilia and in the western part of the Peloponnese. The village is connected by a road linking Gastouni and the Peneus Dam which is situated to the east It is located 14 km E of Gastouni, 3 km W of Kentro (Ilia), Greece, about 18 km (old: 13 km) W of Simopoulo, about 13 km NE of Amaliada, about 35 km N of ENE of Pyrgos and 13 km E of GR-9/E55.

The area sits on a valley which the Peneus river is to the north. Forests surround the village and the western part along with some groves. Farmlands are to the east, the north and partially to the south with pastures and as mixed farming. The hills are to the south and 2 km north. It is mainly grassy but forests are to the south. A water control for the dam is about 1.5 km E and 1.5 km W of the dam. It was built in the 1960s. The water control sit next to the hills.
