A.P.O. Akratitos is a football club that plays in the Athens amateur division in Greece.
The club rose from the lower ranks to the top flight under the stewardship of Yannis Pathiakakis, who in 2002 died on the pitch during a training session. The stadium was subsequently named after him.
Akratitos spent 3 seasons (2001-02 until 2003-04) in the greek Alpha Ethniki before being relegated in 2004 after losing a relegation match against Ergotelis which took place in Thessaloniki. In 2005 Akratitos were re-promoted to Alpha Ethniki.
