Al-Ghantoo (Arabic: الغنطو / ALA-LC: al-Ghanṭū) is a village in the northwest of Homs City (12 km (7.5 mi) from the center of the city) in the middle of Syria. According to a 2004 survey, the village has 12,000 residents; most of whom work in agriculture . There are a few good farmers who specialize in vegetables such as lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, peppers and others. Olive plantings have increased year by year.
There are many places of interest in the village including old Romanian Bridges and Water Mills on al-Assai River which pass through the west side of the village.
