Al-Haramain

al-Haramain is the collective Arabic term that means "The Two Haram Lands" which refers to Makkah and Madinah.

In speech, for someone to say, "I miss al-Haramain", it means the person misses both Makkah and Madinah.

The term al-Haramain also appears in the name of the Exhibition of The Two Holy Mosques Architecture (dubbed the al-Haramain Museum [1]) in Makkah, an exhibition that holds Islamic artifacts.
