Al Dampier was a college American football player who played offensive guard for the national championship winning 1958 LSU Tigers football team.[1]
Dampier was born in Sicily Island, Louisiana on May 11, 1938. Dampier received an academic scholarship to Louisiana State University and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Al Dampier died on January 4, 1998.
