Qadsia Sporting Club (Arabic: نادي القادسية الرياضي) was founded in the State of Kuwait on 20 October 1960. Qadsia was first called Al Jzzira club. Based in Kuwait City Qadsia Club is one of the most popular clubs[citation needed] in Kuwait and were voted the best team in Kuwait of 2007–2008[citation needed]. Al Qadsia currently play in the Kuwaiti Premier League and have won this league thirteen times.
Qadsia play in Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium which is in Hawalli, Hawalli and is the largest stadium in Kuwait. Al Qadsia has the biggest fan base in Kuwait and a large fan bases in the gulf region and arab world. The rivel team of Qadsia is al Arabi club, with the majority of wins for Al-Qadsia(51 wins for Qadsia against 41 wins for Al-Arabi)
