Alan Dodd (born 13 September 1969 in Dublin) is a former Irish football player.

He made his League of Ireland debut for Shamrock Rovers at Bohemians on 6 March 1994. Scored once in 6 league appearances in his first season as Rovers won the League. Also got sent off in his only European appearance for the Hoops.[1] In total he played 25 times for the Hoops and won the reserve Player of the Year in 1993/94.
