Alana Simon is the featured female vocalist of the duo MK featuring Alana, which scored two #1 hits on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Always" in 1993 and "Love Changes" in 1994.[1] She scored another hit in 1995 with the single "Burning," which was recorded with Marc Kinchen as the duo. The song is featured on the house-music compilation album titled My House is Bigger than Your House, which was produced by Danny Tenaglia and released on New York City based music label Bold Records. Alana & MK have not recorded in recent years. Alana hails from Detroit, Michigan, but now resides in the United Kingdom and performs under the name Alana Maria.
