Alistair James Magowan[N 1][2][3][4] (born 1955) is the Bishop of Ludlow[5][6] in the Church of England.
Educated at King's School Worcester, Leeds University and Trinity College, Bristol, he was ordained in 1981. His first post was as a Curate in Owlerton, Sheffield followed by a second Curacy in Durham.[7] Later he was Vicar of Egham then its Rural Dean. Finally he was Archdeacon of Dorset.[8]
A member of the Church of England's General Synod, he is married with three children.[9]
