The Albany Shockwave were a semi-professional basketball team who played in the American Basketball Association. Based in Albany, Georgia, they played just one season (2012-13 ABA season)[2] as a member of the South Atlantic Division. Home games were played at the Albany Civic Center.[3]

The team was owned Christopher G. Pike and coached by Albany Sports Hall of Fame member Al Smith.[4]
