Established in 1983, the club was variously known as Wollongong Srbija, Serbia United, Wollongong Serbia and finally Wollongong White Eagles until 1999. In 2000, the White Eagles amalgamated with Albion Park Soccer Club (which was formed in 1975) to form the Albion Park White Eagles as it is presently known today.[1]
