Aldershot & District Football League

(Redirected from Aldershot Senior League)
The Aldershot & District Football League is a football competition based in England comprising teams from Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. It has four divisions the highest of which, the Senior Division, sits at level 12 of the English football league system. Teams may be promoted to either the Hampshire Premier League or the Hampshire League 2004.
The league was originally called the Aldershot Senior League. It was founded in 1894[1] for military teams and introduced a 'Civilian' division of three teams in 1912-13.[2] After World War I the league featured civilian, military and works teams in the same division[3] but currently there are only civilian teams playing in it.
