The Alexteroon Jynx is part of the Hyperoliidae family which is a family of brightly colored frogs which can range from small to medium in size. The Alexteroon Jynx lays eggs in a group on a leaf which hatch into tadpoles and fall off into the water. The exact population is unknown due to the rarity of this animal but it was known to be decreasing in the last assessment the IUCN took in the year 2004.
