All Wave
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In music production, the All Wave method, developed by The Breeders guitarist and Pixies bassist Kim Deal, states no computers, digital recording or "auto-tuning" should be used during production.
This style of recording was later replicated by Foo Fighters for their 2011 release Wasting Light, though it appears to be just a coincidence rather than any direct influence the All Wave method had on the band.
