Allahabad Monorail is a planned monorail for serving the city of Allahabad. A survey was carried out by the officials of Allahabad Development Authority for identifying 70-kilometre stretch of land for the project. The plan came into existence after receiving directives from the state government.[1]

Network[edit]

There are 2 lines proposed at cost of INR 11,100 crore. The per-kilometre cost of the Allahabad monorail will be around INR 150 crore.[2] The first route covers a distance of 30.2 kilometre from east to west. The second route stretches 40.2 kilometre from north to south.[3]
