"Alpha Dog" is an eighth-season episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and the 170th episode overall. This is the last episode of the season to feature Vincent D'Onofrio as Detective Robert Goren. D'Onofrio returned for the two hour premiere of season 9, but left for a break. He will return in season 10. This particular episode was originally set to air after "Folie a Deux".

A model with a million-dollar torso has what others crave: sex appeal. When he shows up dead after a night of sex and drugs with an elusive woman, detectives Goren and Eames uncover the sexual paranoia behind the murder.
