Alusa Fallax were an Italian symphonic rock band.

History[edit]

Alusa Fallax released only one LP, the concept album Intorno alla mia cattiva educazione (1974). Unusually for a pop album, it contains a fughetta. It is considered a masterpiece in some progressive rock circles, and has been compared to bands such as Quella vecchia locanda, Locanda Delle Fate and Banco del mutuo soccorso.[1]

They also released two singles earlier in 1969, Dedicato a chi amo and Tutto passa.[2]

Related acts[edit]

The band went on to record a single in 1977, La soffitta, under the name Blizzard. The band disbanded in 1979. One of the members released a single called Guardarti negli occhi in 1969, using the name "Guido degli Alusa Fallax"
