Alvaro Andrés Ormeño Salazar (born April 4, 1979) is a Chilean football midfielder, who is currently playing for the prominent Chilean side Colo Colo. He debuted in Chile's second division with club Ñublense and later he played for Ovalle. In 2002 he made his debut in Chile's first division with club Santiago Morning. From there he move on to Everton, where he spent three successful seasons. In June 2005, before the start of the clasura tournament, Ormeño joined Colo-Colo, where he became a regular in the first time. After 18 months in the club, he was sold to Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata.
