Amazônia National Park

The Amazônia National Park (Parque Nacional da Amazônia) was created in 1974, as an integral protection area comprising 1.070.737 ha. It is located in Itaituba and Trairão municipalities, Pará state, in the north of Brazil. Its specific objectives are preserving various amazonic ecosystems, with scientific, education and recreation means.[1]
