American (1911 automobile)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The American was produced by the American Automobile Manufacturing Co, New Albany, Indiana. It had a two-stroke engine from 1911 to 1912. After that, there is no record of passenger cars made by the company, though it made trucks into 1913. It absorbed Jonz Auto Co of Beatrice, Nebraska in 1910 and was later connected with the Ohio Falls Motor Co.
