Envoy Air is a FAA and DOT certificated regional airline based in Fort Worth, Texas. The airline, formerly named American Eagle Airlines, is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMR Corporation's and US Airways Group's successor company. Recently, this successor parent company, the newly merged American Airlines Group has renamed (MQ) American Eagle Airlines; Envoy. The American Eagle brand however, is still used by Chautauqua Airlines and Republic Airlines based out of Indianapolis, Indiana; ExpressJet Airlines based in Atlanta, Georgia; Envoy based in Fort Worth, Texas; and SkyWest Airlines based in Salt Lake City, Utah.[1]
