ASIS International (each letter pronounced separately,[citation needed]), headquartered in Alexandria, Va., is a professional organization for security managers.
The ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits is an educational and networking event in the security industry.

ASIS administers three certification programs. The Certified Protection Professional (CPP) which in the United Kingdom is part of the path for attainment of the Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) registration in the United Kingdom.[1], the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) designation and the Physical Security Professional (PSP) designation.
