Amevi is the personal yacht of steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal. Mittal ordered the yacht in 2007; it was built at Oceanco ship-yard in the Netherlands and, according to yacht brokers, has a value around 150 million USD.

According to Forbes magazine, Amevi is the 34th largest yacht in the world.[citation needed] It is 80.00 m (262.5 ft) long, with a moulded beam of 14.20 m (46.6 ft). The draft of Amevi is 3.90 m (12.8 ft) and its gross tonnage is 2,310 gross tons. The yacht has twin MTU 16V 595 TE70 engines with total power of 9,100 hp, allowing the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 18.5 knots. Its cruising speed is around 14 knots.

The yacht features luxury public areas and 11 VIP staterooms. The guests' cabins are twin and quarter-sized, with en suite bathrooms, toilets, and large TV sets in each room. The owner's cabin is a double, with the largest living area of all the cabins and luxury furnishings, including Italian marble in the bathroom, cherry furniture, and a jacuzzi. A large jacuzzi for all guests is also provided, and the yacht has two outdoor bars. The yacht provides opportunities for water sports, fishing, and jet skiing. dribing and fast boat driving.
