A referendum on the new Statute of Autonomy of Andalusia was held in Andalusia on 2007-02-18. It had already been approved by the Senate and the Congress of Deputies. While abstention was very high, the referendum was nonetheless successful since no minimum participation rate is foreseen by law and the proposed autonomy statute was easily approved.
