Anderson County Fire Department

The Anderson County Fire Department is an all volunteer fire system that serves Anderson County, South Carolina. The current ACFD County Fire Chief is Jimmy Sutherland.

History[edit]

The Anderson County Fire Department was initiated as a Farm Bureau Project in 1961. State Legislation creating and governing the Fire System was placed in the Code of Laws in 1961.
