Andrea Valentina Matthies Bornhorst (born August 6, 1987 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan model and beauty pageant titleholder. She started in the modeling business at the age of 15, posing for photographer Erick Peley. She then worked for modeling agency Wilhelmina Models and others. At the same age, she appeared on the cover of i-D in the United Kingdom. She participated in the 2007 edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant, representing the state of Sucre. She finished in the top 10 semi-finalists and won the award of "Colgate's Best Smile."
She represented her country in the Miss Continente Americano 2008 pageant in Guayaquil (Ecuador) on September 6, and was a top-six finalist.[2]
