Having died in the early 20th century, Davis would likely not have known of this character or made reference to them in this manner. In consideration of the other individuals attributed with sainthood by Davis, it is feasible that St. Emma would have been Emma Hardinge Britten, a 19th century spiritualist. undo Tag: Visual edit
