Androgen-dependent syndromes

Androgen-dependent syndromes are caused by the excessive production of adrenal or gonadal androgens by adrenal adenomas, carcinomas, or hyperplasia, Leydig cell tumors in men, and arrhenoblastomas and polycystic ovarian syndrome in women.[1]:501–2
