Rugrats Pre-School Daze is the second spin-off series to the Nickelodeon TV series Rugrats and the last series in the Rugrats franchise. It focuses on Angelica Pickles and Susie Carmichael as preschool students and is based on the Rugrats episode that piloted it. It first aired in the United Kingdom on July 25, 2005, and all episodes have been released on DVD in the United States. The show aired on Nickelodeon in the United States from November 16, 2008 to December 7, 2008 at 6:00 AM Eastern Time. With only four episodes produced and aired, it is the shortest-lived of all of the Nicktoons ever produced. The complete series was released on February 28, 2013 on iTunes.[1]

History [edit]
In 2001, the show was commissioned, along with All Grown Up!,[2] for 13 episodes and was slated to premiere late 2002.[3] It was also announced that the new spin-off was to feature new looks for the two characters.[3]
The next official word on this series was in a press release for All Grown Up! in September 2002, which it was announced that it was now a series of 4 episodes,[4] and there were also known to be complications involving the planned animation designs for the characters.[5] With the success of All Grown Up! (which was actually supposed to begin after this series), the spin-off was forgotten until May 2005, when K-C announced that it had completed the "first" 4 episodes, and was planning on releasing the episodes with the upcoming Rugrats: Tales From The Crib DVDs.
For a brief period of time in 2010, Pre-School Daze was put back on the air on Nickelodeon on weekend mornings, showing all of the episodes once, and then it was taken off the air again.
