Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS), was established in the Academic Year 2001-02 with the approval of the All India Council for Technology Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Government of Andhra Pradesh and is affiliated to Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam. ANITS is Accredited by National Board of Accredition (NBA) in the year 2008.
APSCHE - ANITS stands 7th most preferred college among all 650 private engineering in Andhra Pradesh with respect to ECE-OC boys admissions. According to CSR - GHRDS Survey ANITS had beed recently[when?] ranked 5th among the promising private engineering colleges & ranked 43rd among the top private engineering colleges of India. Outlook magazine rated AAA grade of all the best engineering colleges in AP. Leading Newspaper Sakshi Sakshi (media group) Survey - Gave 4 stars(****) rating in July 2009.
ANITS is located in a plot of 2400 minutes. The campus is at a distance of 3 km and 1 km, respectively from Bheemunipatnam and Tagarapuvalasa. RTC Bus No. 222 runs from RTC Complex to Tagarapuvalasa.
