Animania HD was an American television network that showed animation from the newest series, specials and anime produced in high definition to cartoon classics re-mastered into HD. Programming included original series Pet Alien, Ratz, Lola & Virginia as well as classic cartoons like The Pink Panther Show and Mr. Magoo. (The network also broadcast Felix the Cat cartoons from the 1950s until December 31, 2007, when the rights expired.) Some more shows broadcast include Sam Sam, Roboroach, and Urban Vermin. Many more shows were broadcast on this network. Most were animated, hence the network name, "Animania". It was one of the Voom HD Networks, a division of Rainbow Media. The channel ceased operations on January 20, 2009.
