Anotheca spinosa is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Anotheca.[citation needed] It is found in Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
