Apartadó (Spanish pronunciation: [apaɾtaˈðo]) is a town and municipality in the Antioquia Department, Colombia Is located near the atlantic ocean in the Gulf of Urabá, the economy is based in Bananas and Plantain. The temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity is above 80% all year round. It is also located in a region. Inhabitants: 134572. As of 2013, the municipality is affected by landmines and FARC rebel activity.[1]
