Ape School is the moniker of Michael Johnson, a Philadelphia based musician.[1] Johnson cut his musical teeth as a former member of Holopaw and Lilys,[2][3] and collaborated with Daedelus on his album "Love To Make Music To"(Ninjatune).[4] In 2008, JesusWarhol Records released a digital 2-album set of Johnson's he recorded leading up to his 2004 debut "Nonsense goes mudslide".[5] In 2009 Ninjatune released his Ape School album through their rock imprint; Counter records.[6]
