ArcLight Sherman Oaks is a cinema owned and operated by Decurion Corporation located in the Sherman Oaks Galleria.
[edit] History
ArcLight Sherman Oaks roots its origins in the Pacific Theatres Galleria Stadium 16, and on June 1, 2007, began its transformation into ArcLight Sherman Oaks. On August 6, 2007, the theatres were temporarily closed to finish construction on the new theater. It has been updated to include a coffee bar, retail shop, restaurant, and fully updated theaters, which included a sound system that exceeds THX standards, an updated cinematic experience, and wider, more comfortable seats and armrests. ArcLight also serves their own signature caramel corn, made on the premises.
As of November 16, 2007, ArcLight Sherman Oaks was re-opened. The Grand Opening event occurred on December 14, 2007.
Roger Daltrey of The Who participated in a question and answer session in the ArcLight Sherman Oaks on 10 November 2008 before a screening of At Kilburn 1977 + Live at the Coliseum in the vestibule and a side room for fans and critics.
