Architettura Sonora (A.S.) is an Italian audio equipment and services company that produces environmental sound modules, based in Bagno a Ripoli, Italy, a suburb of Florence.

A.S. was founded in 2009 by Lorenzo Coppini, CEO of B&C Speakers, and Lorenzo Brusci, composer/designer from SED (Sound&Experience Design), as a division of the B&C Speaker Group.[1]

Products[edit]

Architettura Sonora produces audio speakers intended to serve as architectural elements as much as electronic equipment. Their products feature distinctive shapes and are often made of non-standard materials.[2][3] They also incorporate acoustic design elements intended to create a soundscape particular to the installation. Some products are intended to broadcast sound to a wide area, while others are intended to limit the sound experience to a small area, thus allowing a varied soundscape as a listener moves through a space.[2][4]
