Arcul de Triumf Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It is currently used mostly for rugby matches. It is also the home of Romania for most of their international matches.
The Stadium is sometimes considered too small for the most important rugby international matches and because of that it had to be placed 2000 removable seats for the decisive play-off match of the 2011 Rugby World Cup qualifyings.
As a result, the mayor of Sector 1 (Bucharest) allocated money to the Romanian Rugby Federation to build a new stand and expand the stadium by 1,000 seats.[1]
