The Armoury Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin owned and run by Cassandra Smith and Jessica Steeber. Established in 2008, the gallery resides on the third floor of the historic Milwaukee Fortress building.
The gallery's name was inspired by the Kremlin Armoury in Moscow.[1]
The gallery promotes upcoming and semi-established local, national and international artists creating dynamic, challenging work in a variety of media. The gallery also encourages installation work, aiming to create a unique dialogue between the art, the artist, the gallery and the viewer. Creativity and Cooperation are the owners' primary dreams for the gallery.[2]
