The Arya-suvarnaprabhasottama-sutrendraraja-nama-mahayana-sutra is a Buddhist sūtra containing stories of the Buddha's previous life, including the story of the hungry tigress which is preserved in Chinese, Tibetan, Mongolian and Old Turkic, and it is frequently used as a pedagogical tool in the study of these languages.
