Asian Forum on Business Education (AFBE) was founded in 1992 as a forum to bring together academics and business practitioners to foster research linkages and knowledge diffusion in the region of Asia. AFBE facilitates annual conferences in different countries in Asia, has an online journal, and audits and accredits business programs.

AFBE annual conferences have been held in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, and Australia.

The AFBE Journal is an online publication for which papers are double-blind peer-reviewed. The journal is listed by Cabell's.

The AFBE Accreditation system has been designed as a mechanism to provide a path to the quality improvement of business programs at those institutions that would otherwise be excluded from other international accreditation systems, such as AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.
