Symphyotrichum lateriflorum (calico aster) is a plant in the daisy family, Asteraceae, native to eastern North America.

Symphyotrichum lateriflorum is a herbaceous plant with alternate, simple leaves, on stiff, purplish stems. The flowers are white, borne in fall.
