ATEN Technology manufactures KVM switches and remote connectivity solutions to manage servers and other computer networking devices. Starting in 1981, ATEN has been selling KVM products to businesses and other enterprise organizations. Today ATEN stands as the largest KVM switch manufacturer in the world. ATEN uses proprietary Application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) technology, has over 220 patents worldwide, and is certified ISO 9001 compliant.
ATEN Technology is a subsidiary of Taiwan's ATEN International Co., Ltd.(宏正自動科技股份有限公司). It launched the IOGear brand in 1999. IOGear, Inc., headquartered in Foothill Ranch, CA, is a connectivity manufacturer that provides complete KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse), Networking, Wi-Fi, FireWire, USB (Universal Serial Bus), Bluetooth, HomePlug and Peripheral solutions. The company targets home users, small-to-medium sized businesses and mobile professionals.
ATEN has facilities in the United States, Taiwan, Belgium, Canada, Japan and China. The company's U.S. Facilities are in Irvine.
