Aulaad, a Pakistani Urdu black & white film, was a classic melodious film of 1962. The film was released on August 3[1][2] or August 10[3][4], 1962 by F. & Y. Movies. The film was produced by F.M. Sardar and S.M. Yousuf and also directed by S.M. Yousuf. Casting included Habib, Nayyar Sultana, Waheed Murad, Rukhsana, Talish and Rehana. Aulaad was the first film of Waheed Murad's career as an actor. Waheed played a secondary role in the film. Habib and Nayyar Sultana played lead roles.[1]

Aulaad was released on August 3[1][2] or August 10[3][4], 1962 on Pakistani cinemas and proved to be one of the greatest hit of 1962. The film ran 32 weeks on main cinemas and 57 weeks on other cinemas in Karachi and became a 'Golden Jubilee film'.

The music of the film was composed by a famous musician of his time, A. Hameed. The songs were written by Fyaz Hashmi and sung by Naseem Begam and Muneer Hussein:
