Auras is a town and a nagar panchayat in Unnao district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Auras had a population of 5653. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Auras has an average literacy rate of 51%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 63% of the males and 37% of females literate. 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
