Autobus Classique

Autobus Classique is a bus and coach body builder which has been an Optare subsidiary since 1996. The Autobus products have been discontinued and the Rotherham plant changed to build the smaller versions of the Solo as well as the Alero.
The Rotherham plant was intended to be closed by the end of 2008, but because of delays in acquiring premises in Lancashire the plant closed for one month in December 2008 and reopened briefly in 2009.
