Avonsleigh is a town in Victoria, Australia, 47 km east from Melbourne's central business district. Its Local Government Area is the Shire of Cardinia. At the 2006 Census, Avonsleigh had a population of 325.

The Post Office opened as Koenig's in 1902, was renamed Avonsleigh in 1911 and closed in 1985.[2]
