A'zaz District (Arabic: منطقة أعزازA'zāz and Kurdish; Ezaz) is a Syrian district (mantiqah) administratively within the Aleppo Governorate. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 251,769. Its administrative centre is the city of A'zaz.

Divisions[edit]

The district of A'zaz is divided into six sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):

  • Azaz nahiyah (ناحية اعزاز): population 47,570.[1]
  • Akhtarin nahiyah (ناحية أخترين): population 39,385.[2]
  • Tell Rifaat nahiyah (ناحية تل رفعت): population 43,781.[3]
  • Mare' nahiyah (ناحية مارع): population 39,306.[4]
  • Nubl nahiyah (ناحية نبّل): population 51,948.[5]
  • Sawran nahiyah (ناحية صوران): population 30,032.[6]
