The Azerbaijan Press Agency (APA) is one of the chief news agencies in Azerbaijan. The agency is an independent private limited liability company founded in 2004.

The agency covers both international and domestic developments and is one of primary sources of news for most TV, radio stations, newspapers and other news outlets. Azeri Press Agency is subdivided into several sections such as APA-News, APA-Economics, APA-Sports and APA-Photo. In addition to daily news, the agency offers video footages, financial rankings of banks, weekly and monthly analysis, forecasts and special photobanks. The agency has branch offices in the United States, Turkey, France, Romania, Russia, Georgia and other countries.

Its online version is published in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, French and Arabic. The agency has an expert group composed of famous political scientists who analyze publications from research centers and diplomatic corps.[1]
