B. J. Porter (born December 29, 1971 in Clovis, New Mexico) is an actor, writer and comedian best known for appearing on the HBO sketch comedy program, Mr. Show.

Porter, along with comedy partner Scott Aukerman, perform as the comedy duo "The Fun Bunch".[1] Aukerman and Porter also created and host the long-running live alternative comedy show Comedy Death-Ray,[2] currently held every Tuesday at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.

In addition to writing for film and television, Porter has made memorable guest appearances on comedy programs such Just Shoot Me!, Malcolm in the Middle, Cheap Seats, and most recently on The Sarah Silverman Program.

In June 2010, Porter worked as the head writer for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards show, hosted by Aziz Ansari.
